This August and September, Love Has No Limits is partnering with local organizations to help children begin the school year with the supplies and encouragement they need to succeed. Through the Good Start School Supply Grant Initiative, participating partners can receive pre-packaged school supply kits or backpacks to distribute at their local Back-to-School event. Love Has No Limits will provide an approved grant covering up to $1,500 of the cost of the kits distributed, making it easier for your organization to focus on welcoming families, mobilizing volunteers, and creating a meaningful experience for students.

Available Awards and Distribution
To support organizations of varying size and capacity, in partnership with AmeriCorps, Love Has No Limits is offering Back to School Activation Grants up to $1,500.
These are grants intended to help expand or enhance your Back to School outreach plans and capability to engage and host new volunteers. Organizations are encouraged to request funding aligned with the scope and impact of their serve event.
Upon approval of the application and submission of a discounted school supply order from Educational Products Inc, you'll receive up to $1,500 award via the Ramp platform. Each grantee will need to submit ACH banking details to the Ramp platform in order to expedite funding.
*Activation Grants are reviewed and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and funding is limited to $75,000 total. GNDA maintains a defined pool of grant funds, and once those funds have been fully allocated, no additional grants will be awarded for this cycle. Organizations that apply or are approved after funds have been exhausted will not receive funding for this round. Applicants are encouraged to apply for future funding opportunities through upcoming Love Has No Limits initiatives.

Who Can Apply
Matching Activation Grants are available to organizations planning to host a Back to School event in their community in August or September 2026.
Eligible applicants include:
- Churches and faith-based organizations
- Nonprofit organizations
Organization Requirements for Grant Eligibility
To be eligible for a GNDA Activation Grant, organizations must meet the following criteria:
- Be a confirmed partner on GoodNeighborDayAmerica.com/partner
- Provide a valid EIN or Tax ID number
- Submit a PDF copy of your 501(c)(3) IRS Determination Letter
- Submit an order for school supplies or backpacks from Educational Products, Inc.
- Host a Back to School event in August or September.
Outreach Requirements for Grant Eligibility
To be eligible, organizations must be hosting a Back To School event in August thru September with the following requirements:
- Distribute all approved supplies directly to children and families.
- List the event and manage volunteer registration through the Good Neighbor platform.
- Complete the requred post-event Impact Report.
- Submit quality photos and videos from the event to Love Has No Limits.
